The game that wouldn't stay buried
In 2015, Tappy Halloween: Trick or Treat sent Wilber the KittyCat trick-or-treating across thousands of phones. In 2016, an update was finished β six new costumes, ten new monsters β and then never shipped. The game vanished from the stores, and the update sat in a drawer for a decade.
Now it's all back. Rebuilt from the ground up for modern phones and tablets, with every costume from 2015, the lost update released at last, one brand-new costume stitched for the occasion, and not a single advert anywhere.
Some games rest in peace. This one just rested.
Three of the 40 costumes β including two nobody has ever worn.
